About this space

Zeally Bay Hideaway has been beautifully styled with a calm and spacious feel that you're sure to love. Featuring 4 bedrooms (6 adults, 4 children), 3 bathrooms, designer kitchen, beautiful indoor–outdoor living spaces, high-quality bedding, off-street parking and a fabulous outdoor heated pool. Located in the heart of Old Torquay, you’ll enjoy walking to beaches, playgrounds, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and surf shops.

The space

Downstairs: polished concrete floors with underfloor heating across the open-plan living area (meals, kitchen, butler’s pantry and sitting area). Bifold and sliding doors open to north-facing outdoor sitting, lounge and pool areas. The pool is solar and gas heated and can reach ~30°C within a couple of hours of being turned on. Outdoors: built-in gas BBQ and meals area bathed in morning light and shaded from the hot afternoon sun, plus an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. A separate TV room overlooks the pool. Also downstairs: Queen bedroom with ensuite, laundry with washer & dryer, and a powder room. Kitchen is fully equipped with Miele oven and steam oven, gas stove top, separate drinks fridge and a Breville Oracle espresso machine.

Upstairs: master bedroom with King bed & ensuite; two additional bedrooms—one Queen and one with 2 × king-single bunk beds—share a beautiful large bathroom (bath + shower) and a separate powder room. A lovely rumpus/reading/study with north-facing bay windows completes the level. AC & heating to all rooms upstairs and downstairs. Gated property with off-street parking. All linen & towels provided (please bring beach/pool towels).

Other things to note

• Quiet enjoyment (11/01/2025): pool not to be used after 9:00 pm; please head inside by 10:00 pm. This is a residential area—thanks for being considerate.
• Staircase cannot accommodate a child safety gate; may not suit young children.
• Bunks are not to be used by adults.
• All linen and towels supplied; please bring your own beach/pool towels.
• Distance highlights: ~700 m to the beach & Elephant Walk Park; 2-min drive to Coles & Woolworths; 400 m to Rip Curl Surf Shop; 8-min walk to Gilbert St; 7-min drive to Cosy Corner Beach.
