Discover the rustic mudbrick charm of Sunnymeade Cottage. This gorgeous and unique home features three queen bedrooms, a new kitchen, indoor wood fireplace, reverse-cycle A/C in the main living area, an outdoor fire pit and a large dining deck with BBQ. Beachside of the Great Ocean Road on a quiet street, the cottage is nestled in a private garden setting— minutes from the clifftop walk and a 10-minute stroll to beautiful Sunnymeade Beach.
The space
This lovingly restored cottage creates an inviting, cosy atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. It’s perfect for families or friends to enjoy the Great Ocean Road at their own pace. A 15-minute walk (or short 5-minute drive) takes you to the Aireys ‘top’ shops—General Store, chemist, post office, cafés and restaurants, and a little further, the Aireys Pub. The renowned clifftop walk is minutes away and leads to Sunnymeade Beach or Sandy Gully, or continue to Split Point Lighthouse and the Lighthouse Tearooms. At low tide, explore rock pools, caves and the Mermaid rock pool! Board games, books, Smart TV and Wi-Fi are provided, plus two body boards for your stay.
Other things to note
All three bedrooms have queen beds. Linen and towels are provided—please bring your own beach towels. The cottage has one separate toilet; the bathroom features a shower and vanity (consider this when booking for 6 guests). On total fire ban days the outdoor fire pit and BBQ cannot be used. Sorry, strictly no pets and no parties.
